Your Room & Floor

Your room here at Arcady is your own space for the duration of the academic year.

Each room is double-glazed and your room includes a –

​

  • King single bed

  • Bedding

  • Desk and Shelving

  • 2 x Chairs

  • Lamp

  • Mirror

  • Rubbish bin

  • Wardrobe

  • Heating

  • Pinboard

  • University network wifi access
     

All you need to do is bring your belongings and make the space your own!
Each room and wardrobe has a lock and buildings are accessed via swipe cards, further adding to security.

A live-in Residential Assistant is assigned to each building/floor. We group the floors with like-minded residents which allows for a cohesive community.

Each floor is set up with a small kitchenette including a fridge, toaster, electric jug and microwave.
The ratio of bathrooms to students on each floor is approximately 1:4 – meaning you’ll never have to wait long for a shower. While bathrooms are gender diverse, all toilets and showers are in individual units.

 

We also offer students the option of living on an alcohol-free floor, meaning alcohol is not consumed in that area.
